Will you actually bring strategy to the partnership, or just execute on what we tell you?
Strategy is why you are hiring us, and we're going to take the lead here. Before we send a single email or launch a single ad, we build the plan. If your current agency waits for you to tell them what to do, that's not a partnership. That's annoying. We bring the ideas and the energy to every call, every week.
Will you understand our brand voice and aesthetic?
Of course. We'll study your site, brand guide, past emails, and social presence to understand your DNA. And then our seasoned US-based copywriters will work their magic. One client told us: "You clearly did your homework. I was relieved when I saw the first draft." If something isn't right, we fix it fast. We've done this across fashion, skincare, outdoor, CPG, sports apparel, and dozens of other categories.
We've been burned by agencies before. How is this different?
We hear this on almost every single call, and honestly, we love it. The pattern is always the same: great onboarding, things go quiet, strategy disappears, and then you plateau and chase for updates. What's different here is that we're proactive by design. You'll never have to ask what's happening. We tell you with regular calls and end-of-week updates. If you come across our reviews, you'll see lots of kudos for our communication.
Who actually does the work, and how many clients do they handle?
We don't have an A team and a B team. We just have our team. Every client gets a single point of contact, and nobody is stretched across 15 other brands. You'll talk to one person, and everyone else works behind the scenes. No account shuffling, no surprise handoffs, no "let me loop in someone from the team."
Will you send too many emails and damage our list?
No, but we might try to talk you into sending less. We often see terribly aggressive send strategies damaging brands. We'll let the data tell us the story about cadence and frequency, and build your content calendar together so that every send has a purpose.
Our in-house person isn't cutting it (or just left). Can you step in?
This is one of the most common reasons brands come to us. The challenge with a single in-house person is that multiple skill sets are required. On the email side, you're looking at a project manager, a strategist, a designer, a copywriter, and a builder. You've likely experienced great email design that falls flat because the other skills are missing. On the ads side, you'll need a senior strategist, a media buyer, a creative strategist, a copywriter, a video editor, and somebody to manage all of the UGC relationships. That's a lot of people. Our team brings all of those to your account from day one, without the hiring risk, onboarding time, or overhead of a full-time employee.
Are we a good fit to work together?
If you made it this far, probably. If you're a DTC eCommerce brand doing somewhere between $1M and $40M annually and frustrated that your email or ads aren't performing the way they should, you're in the right place. Our best clients are founder-led, have proven demand, and are done guessing. They want a real partner, not a vendor. If that sounds like you, book a call, and we'll know within 15 minutes whether it makes sense. If it doesn't, we'll do our best to refer you to somebody that is a fit for you.
